As part of the Agrotica exhibition<\/strong>, and at the exhibition area (Pavilion 11, Stand 1<\/strong>), the Institute of Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology (iBO)<\/strong> of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH)<\/strong> will offer interested visitors the opportunity to explore the latest technologies in the field of agriculture.<\/p>

Bioeconomy, Energy, and Digital Agriculture<\/strong> form the triptych upon which the modern approach to sustainable and competitive agricultural production is built.<\/p>

Bioeconomy<\/strong> focuses on the utilization of biological resources and by-products for the production of food, energy, and biomaterials, promoting the circular economy and reducing dependence on fossil raw materials.<\/p>

Energy<\/strong>, through the integration of renewable sources and innovative technologies, contributes to energy self-sufficiency and the decarbonization of production.<\/p>

At the same time, Digital Agriculture<\/strong>, by harnessing data, sensors, artificial intelligence, and geoinformation systems, enables precise and efficient resource management, reducing both costs and environmental impacts.<\/p>

The convergence of these three sectors leads to a new production model in which technology, ecology, and economy coexist\u2014creating added value and enhancing the sustainability of the primary sector in a rapidly changing global environment.<\/p>
