The international audience came, among others, from: USA, Japan, China, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Israel, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

With the aim of maximizing business extroversion, an organized programme of scheduled B2B meetings was implemented for the first time at Agrotica, in cooperation with the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE) and the Enterprise Europe Network. Through the dynamic Hosted Buyers programme, 500 meetings were held between exhibitors and 33 trade visitors from 9 targeted markets. At the same time, 1,500 meetings were organized within the framework of structured group visits of 500 professionals from the Balkans.

The 31st Agrotica operated as a platform for showcasing smart farming technologies. Through a targeted collaboration between TIF-HELEXPO and the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) / Institute of Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology (Pavilion 11), advanced digitalization solutions were presented: smart crop monitoring, Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, interoperable platforms, climate data analysis tools and simulation models for climate-smart agriculture.

At the level of conference content, the Panhellenic Conference of AGROTICA titled “From the seed of knowledge… to the fruit of innovation” stood out, co-organized by TIF-HELEXPO and the School of Agriculture of AUTH, marking the historic anniversary of 100 years since the establishment of the university faculty.

Finally, the success of the event was supported by the decisive contribution of sectoral bodies. The Association of Importers and Representatives of Machinery (SEAM), the Hellenic Association of Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery (EKAGEM) and the Association of Fertilizer Producers and Traders (SPEL) supported Agrotica with the participation of hundreds of their member companies and highlighted the exhibition as one of the most important events of the agricultural sector in Southeastern Europe.
